Daydreams & U ( Immortality 2)
I am going to let these thoughts flow as they do
telling a beautiful story rendered in prose
& just tell the fantastic truth
my fantastic truth
U bring my childhood dreams together
the fleeting glimpses remembered @ once converging w/ the present
euphoric & profoundly sobering
Visions of antiquity garnered n youth
& as we grow w/ time the more powerful ones stay w/ us
reminding of a place we long to be
w/ someone somehow
we spend our whole lives in this dream
unconsciously waiting for something someone
it doesnt happen
these things dont happen
Life is too full of mundane operation
mechanical occupations
the will & need to survive & the inevitable maturity
it doesnt happen
these dreams dont happen
But sometimes they do
if u should dream as i do
facing the storm embracing the perceived abnormality
transcending reality somewhat
rewarded in pain alienation ensuing
arriving @ this place
discovering the dream again
is to love u
& i do
