Aloof
Togetherness
this gift bestowed
forever yet
I love you so
possessed by beauty
in darkness obsession
the object of desire
upon the altar sits
To be with you
a smile perchance
enchanted in tahdem
we dance
so wondrous & lovely
in romantic bliss
The hours go by
I am frightened
then sigh
turned to stone
wondering why
the most magnificent things
are so elusive
Splendorous heartfelt kisses
across the waters
as I miss you
& yearn
above afar
alone aloof
